The paper identifies the specific types of waste resulting from the consequences of nuclear explosions and discharges of radioactive products into the water, which have had an extremely negative impact on the ecology of the Arctic zone. The author provides the results of the statistical analysis of the volume of waste resulting from economic activities of enterprises and human activity in the regions of the Arctic zone between 2016 and 2020. The paper considers the factors complicating the performance of the waste management system in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and the Far North regions, the main types of these wastes, as well as the possible solution of environmentally hazardous problems employing reverse logistics methods. The role of the state in the waste management in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation is specifically highlighted. The author draws the final conclusions concerning the need to modernize the waste management system in the Arctic zone and the areas of the Far North.
The article analyzed the legal category “neighborhood law”. The concept of the institute “neighborhood law”, its delimitation from similar institutions, as well as ways to protect “neighborhood rights” were considered. The author points out that in a neighbor’s case it is very important to show tolerance for reasonable infringements of your comfort, if this does not go beyond legal limits. Therefore, the norms of “neighborhood law” will contribute to the establishment of humane and respectable relations between neighbors.
Currently, the current norms of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, the Land Code of the Russian Federation do not eliminate the problems that arise when considering “neighbor disputes”. An analysis of judicial practice shows that the courts are overloaded with disputes related not to protection from a real violation of the rights of the owner, but to certain personal interests. On the basis of this, the author concludes that the norms of the bill that streamline the “neighborhood law” will eliminate the above-mentioned gaps, unload the courts, exempting them from considering disputes that do not have a positive resolution as a result, and provide any good-minded neighbor with special owner protection.
This article presents the author’s perspective on the main regulatory problems of road traffic regulation in the Russian Federation. The author analyses the major normative legal acts in this sphere, and considers the statistical data as well as the most resonant accidents. Both national and foreign experience is presented via illustrative examples featuring the most typical situations. The author substantiates the relevance of the shortcomings, and justifies the necessity to rectify them. The paper points out the insufficiency of organizational and managerial measures currently taken in this sphere. Some recommendations to improve the system of administrative responsibility in road traffic are suggested.
The article deals with certain issues of rights and obligations arising from the infliction of harm to another person. The author draws the conclusion that the fact of occurrence of harm does not always entail the obligation to compensate it. The paper considers the grounds and conditions of tort liability on the example of infliction of harm as a result of fire. The idea is put forward that the moment of occurrence of tort liability does not coincide with the moment of application of liability measures. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the assignment of right (claim) from tort depending on the moment of occurrence of such right.

The paper explores gender equality policy as one of the priorities of the U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East and North Africa region. The author conducts the analysis of the US normative mechanisms to support women’s rights, as well as the first in the history of the USA “National Strategy of Gender Equality and Equity” as a tool to promote the American standards of gender equality in the regions of the US geopolitical interests on the example of the Middle East. The author considers contradictions between the objectives of the society’s democratic development, the implementation of gender equality principles in public policy, and the specific features of the traditional lifestyles in the Middle East and North Africa. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the role of women’s empowerment agenda in the foreign policy of Biden’s administration in this region. The paper proves that the promotion of gender equality ideas has become the priority trend in the US foreign policy.

The author reveals the attitudes of boys and girls over the age of 18 toward the persons with human immunodeficiency virus infection, and their behavioral strategies during the interactions with carriers of the virus. The paper presents the assessment of the permissible involvement of young people infected with human immunodeficiency virus in social relations, not only as consumers, but also as providers of services.
