HIV-infection: Awareness of Young People and Their Attitude Towards the HIV-positive People

Abstract

The article was researched an awareness of young people, representing is the intellectual, labor and creative potential necessary for the establishment of a tolerant, fair and well-functioning society or stable society, of the issues of virus infection, human immunodeficiency, as well as the exposure to myths and misconceptions concerning this disease. The paper identifies the most preferable techniques of preventing infection caused by human immunodeficiency virus among the young, as well as the reason for refusing to be tested for human immunodeficiency virus. The author reveals the attitudes of boys and girls over the age of 18 toward the persons with human immunodeficiency virus infection, and their behavioral strategies during the interactions with carriers of the virus. The paper presents the assessment of the permissible involvement of young people infected with human immunodeficiency virus in social relations, not only as consumers, but also as providers of services.
